Verse Taken From the Classic Version of the Amplified Bible
Fear not [there is nothing to fear]– As in absolutely nothing! Not one thing because our God is VERY BIG!
For I am with you. God is with us. He stands between us and whatever makes us afraid. He is fighting for us and there are more who are for us than those who are against us.
Do not look around you in terror and be dismayed. If we take our eyes off God and look at our troubles rather than God’s mighty, loving presence, we WILL be afraid and dismayed. But focused only on him, we are kept in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3)
For I am your God. Our fears are not gods to make us bow down to them and serve them. Jehovah God, Jesus Christ is our God. Give attention and worship to him alone and your anxieties will bow to him
I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties. Here is one time we are allowed to become hardened—not of heart but rather strong as pillars in the house of our God. Like a workman develops his muscles from consistent hard work so he can do greater tasks, so God strengthens us through difficulties so we make it through life victorious.
Yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you. When the Bible repeats the same word twice in a row, it indicates special emphasis. The Lord promises us a strength that holds us up. He never lets go of us, never forsakes us.
With My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. Our God is undefeated and he passes that victory on to us so that even death itself cannot stop us. We are not just on the defensive, we are on the offensive. And in the midst of the battle, we can look to God our righteous judge to be just and faithful in his dealings with us. And one day, he will return to deal with the sin and injustice of unrepentant people.
